Reminders

  • Please remember to check the spare clothing in your child’s cubby or diaper bag to ensure that we have the appropriate sizes.
  • Make sure that your child’s belongings are labeled with their names.
  • Please remember to check the spare clothing in your child’s cubby or diaper bag to ensure that we have the appropriate sizes.
  • We have some children eating lunch from the kitchen, but we ask that you still bring food to store in their cubbies for backup.
  • For the children who eat breakfast, we ask that you please provide the cereal.
  • We will start introducing sippy cups to children that are at least 6 months and up. We will only put water in the cups unless your child has been introduced to whole milk. We will provide the cups, but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • Please make sure that your child has a supply of diapers and wipes.
  • All medicine, hand sanitizer, and diaper cream are not allowed in diaper bags unless we have proper medical authorization for their use.
  • When signing in and out, please sign your child’s and your first and last names.
  • Your child may need to change their clothing from spills, blow outs, etc.  These items will be found in a container marked soiled clothing in the nursing room.
  • We need everyone to sign in and out on the app.  We will use this to communicate with you and please respond to the messages sent.  You are always welcome to call and check on your child and talk with the teachers at drop off and pick up.

Classroom Reminders

  • Please ensure your child has at least two changes of clothes in his or her cubby in case of accidents that are weather appropriate.
  • Please send a blanket or mat for your child to use at nap. They may also bring a snuggle buddy.
  • Please read to your child daily!
  • Please put bug spray/sunscreen on at home in the morning! 
  • Please sign your child in with your full signature 
  • If your child is potty training, please bring several changes of clothes daily and extra socks and shoes. We do not use pull-ups, only cotton underwear.
  • Please do not allow your child to bring in toys from home.  Cuddle toys are permitted at rest time.
  • Please work with your child to help them learn self-help skills such as eating with a fork and spoon, drinking from an open cup, and handwashing and dressing.
  • All medications must have a medicine form on file if they are in our classroom.  Please ask a teacher if you need one to fill out for your child.  We must have a new form filled out at the beginning of each week.
  • Lotions, creams, hand sanitizers, etc., are not allowed in your child’s cubby or diaper bag.
  • The morning snack is at 9:00 a.m.  Please finish any breakfast items before coming into the classroom. Please leave all food and drink in the car.

Reminders

  • Please ensure that your child has at least two changes of weather-appropriate clothing in his/her cubby. *Please label all jackets*
  • Please ensure that your child brings a blanket, snuggle buddy, nap mat, etc., to use during rest time.
  • Show and tell is every Friday. Your child may bring an item from home to share that begins with our letter of the week.
