We are committed to an environment where each child can grow emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically through exploration and hands-on learning opportunities.

We appreciate all of our families caring for one another and making sure we are all healthy and safe. Thank you for all the special gifts you sent.  We really appreciate you all!!

Reminders

  • Please ensure your child has at least two changes of clothes in his or her cubby in case of accidents.
  • Please remember to check the spare clothing in your child’s cubby or diaper bag to ensure that we have the appropriate sizes.
  • Make sure that your child’s belongings are labeled with their names.
  • We have some children that are eating lunch from the kitchen, but we ask that you still bring food to store in their cubbies for backup.
  • For the children who eat breakfast, we ask that you please provide the cereal. We will start introducing sippy cups to the children that are at least 6 months and up. We will only put water in the cups unless your child has been introduced to whole milk. We will provide the cups but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • Please make sure that your child has a supply of diapers and wipes.
  • All medicine, hand sanitizer, and diaper cream are not allowed in diaper bags unless we have proper medical authorization for their use.
  • When signing in and out please sign your child’s and your first and last names.

Classroom Reminders

  • Please ensure your child has at least two changes of clothes in his or her cubby in case of accidents that are weather appropriate.
  • Please send a blanket or mat for your child to use at nap. They may also bring a snuggle buddy.
  • When signing your child in and out please use first and last names.
  • Please have your child wear tennis shoes or closed-toed shoes. Also, bring a jacket and hat for outside play.
  • If your child is potty training, please bring several changes or clothes daily as well as extra socks and shoes. Remember that we do not use pullups, only cotton underwear.
  • Please do not allow your child to bring in toys from home.  Cuddle toys are permitted at rest time.
  • Please apply sunscreen and bug spray prior to your child being dropped off
  • Please work with your child to help them learn self-help skills such as eating with a fork and spoon, drinking from an open cup, and handwashing and dressing.
  • All medications must have a medicine form on file if they are in our classroom.  Please ask a teacher if your need one to fill out for your child.  We must have a new form filled out at the beginning of each week.
  • Lotions, creams, hand sanitizers, etc. are not allowed in your child’s cubby or diaper bag.
  • Morning snack is at 9:00a.m.  Please finish any breakfast items before coming into the classroom. Please leave all food and drink in the car

Reminders

  • Please remember to check the spare clothing in your child’s cubby to ensure that it is o.k. for cooler weather.
  • Another clothing reminder:  if your little girl loves to wear dresses, please have them wear a pair of shorts under them.  
  • Also, while your child may like to wear crocs or sandals, these are not the best shoes to wear for running and jumping on the playground.A pair of running or tennis shoes that tie or velcro are the best for preventing slips and falls. Thanks!

Reminders

  • Please ensure that your child has weather appropriate school shoes and a jacket in his or her cubby. Please label all jackets.
  • Please ensure that your child has at least two changes of weather appropriate clothing in his or her cubby as well.
  • Please ensure that your child brings his or her own blanket, snuggle buddy, or nap mat etc. to use during rest time.
  • Show and tell is every Friday! Your child will bring an item from home that starts with our letter of the week. We send home the letter of the week page every Monday to help your child learn our letter.
