We are committed to an environment where each child can grow emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically through exploration and hands-on learning opportunities.

Thank you so much for all who participated in A Night at the Art Museum.  I think a great time was had by all.  We appreciate all of our families caring for one another and making sure we are all healthy and safe. We hope you are enjoying the brightwheel app.

Reminders

  • Please ensure your child has at least two changes of clothes in his or her cubby in case of accidents.
  • Please remember to check the spare clothing in your child’s cubby or diaper bag to ensure that we have the appropriate sizes.
  • Make sure that your child’s belongings are labeled with their names.
  • We have some children that are eating lunch from the kitchen, but we ask that you still bring food to store in their cubbies for backup.
  • For the children who eat breakfast, we ask that you please provide the cereal. We will start introducing sippy cups to the children that are at least 6 months and up. We will only put water in the cups unless your child has been introduced to whole milk. We will provide the cups but you are welcome to bring your own.
  • Please make sure that your child has a supply of diapers and wipes.
  • All medicine, hand sanitizer, and diaper cream are not allowed in diaper bags unless we have proper medical authorization for their use.
  • When signing in and out please sign your child’s and your first and last names.

We are so excited about the brightwheel app.  We love sharing some of your child’s day with you.  Also, please remember to bring a family photo if you could for our family wall.

Classroom Reminders

  • Please ensure your child has at least two changes of clothes in his or her cubby in case of accidents that are weather appropriate.
  • Please send a blanket or mat for your child to use at nap. They may also bring a snuggle buddy.
  • When signing your child in and out please use first and last names.
  • Please have your child wear tennis shoes or closed-toed shoes. Also, bring a jacket and hat for outside play.
  • If your child is potty training, please bring several changes or clothes daily as well as extra socks and shoes. Remember that we do not use pullups, only cotton underwear.
  • Please do not allow your child to bring in toys from home.  Cuddle toys are permitted at rest time.
  • Please apply sunscreen and bug spray prior to your child being dropped off
  • Please work with your child to help them learn self-help skills such as eating with a fork and spoon, drinking from an open cup, and handwashing and dressing.
  • All medications must have a medicine form on file if they are in our classroom.  Please ask a teacher if your need one to fill out for your child.  We must have a new form filled out at the beginning of each week.
  • Lotions, creams, hand sanitizers, etc. are not allowed in your child’s cubby or diaper bag.
  • Morning snack is at 9:00a.m.  Please finish any breakfast items before coming into the classroom. Please leave all food and drink in the car

We would like to thank everyone who attended A Night at the Art Museum.  A Great time was had by all and we are excited to start on our outdoor learning spaces. We hope everyone is enjoying the Brightwheel app.

Reminders

  • Please remember to check the spare clothing in your child’s cubby to ensure that it is o.k. for the warmer/cooler weather.
  • Another clothing reminder:  if your little girl loves to wear dresses, please have them wear a pair of shorts under them.  
  • Also, while your child may like to wear crocs or sandals, these are not the best shoes to wear for running and jumping on the playground.A pair of running or tennis shoes that tie or velcro are the best for preventing slips and falls. Thanks!

Reminders

  • Lotions, creams, chapstick, ointments, and hand sanitizers can’t be in your child’s cubby. Let us know if they need it and you can fill out a medical form and we will put it in our medicine box.
  • Make sure your child has an extra set of clothes in the bottom part of their cubby. It needs to be in the right size and season.
  • Please remember to check your child’s cubby daily. The top part of the cubby is for anything that needs to go home. The middle part of the cubby is for the nap mat, blanket, and bed buddy. Please wash these every Friday. The bottom part of the cubby is for his/her extra clothing.
  • Show and tell will be every Friday. Your child will find something from home that begins with our letter of the week. 
  • We would love for you to send in a family photo for our family tree. The children love showing off their families.
